Secondary Transfer

Laurel Park School's admissions are managed by Enfield Council.

Laurel Park is a non-selective school

The following guide will help to explain the processes that you need to complete to apply for your child to come to Laurel Park.

Pre October

Register and apply on the eadmission website

October

October 31st is the deadline for applications

February

Local Authorities organise offers and send information to families. 

 

Welcome letter for families from Ms Christofi, Head Teacher and invitation to Taster Day

March

Taster Day held for new pupils

May

Members of staff visit primary schools to meet with pupils joining the school in September

June

Letter to new parents informing them of all the events that are to follow:

Taster Day, Parents’ Evening and Enrolment Evenings

Enrolment Packs sent to parents

July

Attend Taster Day and  attend Induction Evening

August

All pupils entered on the school system, put in tutor groups and timetables ready for September start.

September

New Year 7 students start at Laurel Park.​

A period of transition activities will take place at school including baseline assessments and reading tests to support the transition from primary to secondary school.
