Entry Requirements
At Laurel Park Sixth Form, we offer two pathways to support students in progressing to the next stage of their education, training or employment.
Level 3 Pathway
Students wishing to study Level 3 qualifications must achieve a minimum average GCSE point score of 3.6, calculated using their five highest GCSE grades, including English Language and Mathematics.

Students who have not achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE English Language and/or Mathematics will be required to resit the relevant qualification(s) alongside their Level 3 studies.

Individual Level 3 subjects may have additional entry requirements, which students must also meet.
Level 2 Pathway
Students wishing to study Level 2 qualifications must achieve a minimum average GCSE point score of 2.6, calculated using their five highest GCSE grades, including English Language and Mathematics.

The Level 2 Pathway is designed to support students in developing their knowledge, skills and qualifications in preparation for progression to Level 3 study, further education, training or employment.
​
Students enrolled on this pathway will be required to undertake GCSE English Language and Mathematics resits alongside their Level 2 qualifications, where they have not already achieved a grade 4 or above.
Subjects with individual entry requirements:
Law- 4 in English Language/Literature
Applied Science: 4:4 in Double Science or 4's in Triple Science
Construction: Grade 4 in Maths
