Who this course is for

This course is designed to prepare students for specific careers in business. This means that you can tailor your studies to your career aspirations and gain relevant skills and knowledge along the way in areas such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations Management.


Our course really focuses on the vocational aspects of Business so you will find a lot of teaching is based on case studies, application to a variety of different businesses, visiting speakers, role plays and visits to industry.


Business vocational education also provides students with broader work-based skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership, which are essential in any career.


Entry requirements

There are no subject specific entry requirements. Students need to have an average point score of 3.6. Studying Business at a GCSE level is desirable, but is not essential.

Everyone taking this qualification will study three mandatory units . They are :
